NEON CAVIAR is a Brooklyn-based multimedia production company that produces formally inventive, exuberant work with a strong visual component, helmed by Sarah Todes. Neon Caviar is dedicated to creating jobs for women, nonbinary folx, and BIPOC making non-traditional performance, and to doing our part in the fight against the underrepresentation of minorities and the queer community in the arts. NEON CAVIAR's dark comedy TV pilot, GAMP, is the proud recipient of a 2020 NYFA Women's Fund Grant in collaboration with the Mayor's Office of Media and Entertainment, and NEON CAVIAR's play, Lemons, is a semi-finalist for the Drama League Next Stage Residency.
Past projects include "Lemons," a devised multidisciplinary exploration of social media and grief, "Lifetime Supply," a live graphic-novel play featuring animations that function as set; "Living Altar," a multimedia performance in collaboration with Kaimera Productions exploring the murder of Farkhunda Malikzada; "Snak Storeez," a play about snacks having existential crises, "GAMP," a dark comedy live-action pilot narrated by puppets, and "Eelpout," a surreal farce that is an exploration of midwestern masculinity.
